Stranded in Love

Book One in the Calderone Family Romance Series

Can they survive the snowstorm without killing each other…or falling in love?

If a gold medal was awarded for "Worst Day Ever", Laney Calderone would win it today, hands down. She’s just discovered she's pregnant, her fiancé abruptly dumps her when she tells him, and her new car refuses to start as a brutal snowstorm hits Toronto.

Good Samaritan Tyler Hammond offers to take her home; however, with the heavy snow falling and his patience dwindling, Laney’s gold medal day isn’t over yet.

Storms intensify both outside and in as Laney finds herself inexplicably attracted to this tall, dark and very handsome but infuriating stranger.

Can Laney fight her unwanted yet increasing desire for this man long enough to get through the relentless storm? And will Tyler let her walk out of his life as easily as she came into it?

"Victoria Grant's writing is full of wonderful emotional energy. It is so easy to read and effortless to picture everything that is going on and to feel all the emotions of the characters. I was immediately swept into the characters and the story. This is character-driven romance at its best with all the feelings that make me love to read romance. It's an enjoyable, emotionally engaging journey."

"Overall, romance readers will enjoy this funny, mostly light-hearted, fare, perfect for curling up with hot chocolate on a cold winter's night. This is a thoroughly modern love story that manages to encompass and pay homage to everything readers love about the genre: from meet-cutes to snowball fights to slow dancing by candlelight. It is a reminder to this mostly cynical generation that life–and love –is like a dance: perfectly enjoyable even if you're on your own, but somehow taking on a different level of meaning when shared with someone else."

“Another great story by Victoria. The story was strong and enjoyable and I can’t wait for the next in the series. In this book you learn more about the Calderone family and once I got into it I couldn’t put it down. The ending was so good, I would have cracked well before Casey did.”

“I read the first book of this series and liked it, so I gave the second a try. I liked it again. More than book 1, in fact.  I enjoyed about this second book because the author's sense of humor came through.

There is some family drama in this book that complicates things for Casey and Noel. It gives some edge to their relationship. The story reads quickly. Most of all, though, I liked the book because I liked Casey's character and wanted to see her be happy at the end.”

"I loved this story! I am fan of many genres but romance is my favourite and this kind of book is right up my street! I loved that it was just so easy to read. I thought it was also one of those books that you feel like you’re watching whilst reading – almost like a movie! Although this is the third book in a series it is easily read as a standalone but I will absolutely be reading the first two in the series to find out more about the characters!
Ahh Caroline and Charles! Ok so I think it was obvious they were totally meant for each other but I loved their journey whilst realising this! The banter between them was entertaining and I was rooting for them the whole way through!

Designing Love is a wonderful romance read that I would definitely recommend!"

"Designing Love (The Calderone Family Romance Book 3) by Victoria Grant. This is a new author and series to me. I absolutely loved Caroline from the first page. The back and forth banter between Caroline and Charles will most definitely keep you entertained. While this could be read as a stand-alone book, I will be going back and reading the previous books in the series. I can not wait for the next book in the series and definitely more from Ms. Grant!!!"

“You never know when a second chance will come around. Sometimes it strolls through your door, and sometimes you have to fight for it. For Stephen Calderone, it’s a little bit of both.

When Jen, Stephen’s high school girlfriend, shows up in his office years after they broke up, sweet memories and chemistry return almost instantly. But convincing Jen to risk her heart on their love once again will take all his powers of persuasion.

Long-Lost Love is the most mature of the four Calderone romances to date. Stephen and Jen are authentic in their flaws and emotional scars. And they rebuild their relationship with honesty and commitment to mutual understanding, which is something of a rarity in contemporary romance.

All in all, this is a compelling love story that highlights very relatable themes such as regret, guilt, growth, and the challenges of unconditional love.”

5* Goodreads Review...

Long-Lost Love is Victoria Grant’s best romance to date! I’ve loved watching each of the Calderones find love in Toronto and this one made me grin from cover-to-cover. There were many laugh-out-loud moments, especially the banter and teasing between the Calderone siblings - even the in-laws joined in - making this a wonderful feel-good romcom. So much fun happens in this family, it makes me wish I were a part of it!
Long-Lost Love is yet another hit in the Calderone series, a true home run!”

"No Cure for Love is the fifth book in the Calderone Family series and it’s the most high-energy, sigh-inducing story yet, mostly because of the intriguing main characters. The mixture of Rylee’s serious and responsible nature with Jamie’s laid back and youthful charm makes for some great chemistry. Also, fans of the series will love how the couple fits into the banter and drama of the Calderone family. If you enjoy steamy, opposites attract romances, you’ll be incurably smitten with No Cure for Love."

”This book is a fun, romantic read! You by no means need to read the rest of this series to understand what is going on. I read this without any background on the rest of the series and absolutely loved it! I'm sure the relationships between the characters and Easter eggs will make more sense if you read the whole series, but you'll be fine with this as a standalone. Five out of five stars! Gimme more of these romances, stat!”
